Momentum Venture Management works with promising companies to help them achieve long-term business success. At the heart of our model is the raising of early-round funding for our portfolio companies to help transform their innovations into real-world wins. In order to facilitate this process, in October 2006 we launched the Momentum Bridge & Opportunity Fund, which provides infusions of capital to early-stage companies with whom we are actively engaged.
This is not a typical investment fund; rather it was created solely to meet the specific needs of our portfolio companies. In fact, we don't invest in companies unless they are already working with us. Instead, all of our investments are focused on helping our portfolio firms accelerate their businesses by adding necessary resources, including hiring senior management and making immediate infrastructure improvements.
